Vendor Terms & Conditions
1. Vendor Eligibility
Vendors must be 18 years of age or older and must agree to all terms and conditions set forth. Businesses should be relevant to the music industry, particularly the punk genre, and should offer merchandise or services that align with the values and interests of the event attendees.
2. Booth Assignment
Booth locations are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, with consideration given to the needs and preferences stated in the signup form. The event organizers reserve the right to make final determinations regarding booth placement to ensure a diverse and balanced vendor experience.
3. Payment
Payment must be made in full by the specified deadline to secure vendor participation. Failure to meet the payment deadline may result in the forfeiture of the vendor's spot to a waitlisted applicant.
4. Cancellation by Vendor
If a vendor needs to cancel their participation, they must do so in writing at least ten (10) days prior to the event. A cancellation fee may apply as detailed in the cancellation policy provided at the time of signup.
5. Event Cancellation or Changes
The event organizers reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or alter the event due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, vendors will be notified promptly, and fees will be refunded or credited according to the situation and vendor preference.
6. Vendor Conduct
Vendors agree to conduct themselves in a professional manner that is welcoming, safe, and respectful to all event participants. Any form of harassment or discrimination is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate expulsion from the event without refund.
7. Compliance with Laws Vendors are responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses and for complying with all applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations, including tax laws and health and safety standards.
8. Insurance
Vendors must carry their own general liability insurance. Punk Rock Swap Meet must be listed on your policy for the duration of the event. We require you to have it available upon request.
9. Indemnification
Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless the event organizers, sponsors, and affiliated parties from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of the vendor's participation in the event.
10. Setup and Breakdown
Vendors are responsible for their own setup and breakdown within the time frames provided by the event organizers. All vendor spaces must be returned to their original condition at the end of the event.
11. Use of Space
Vendors must keep their booth operations within the assigned space and not encroach on aisles or neighboring booths. Sound and display materials must not disrupt the overall event environment.
12. Merchandise and Display
All merchandise for sale or display must be listed in the signup form and approved by the event organizers. The organizers reserve the right to request the removal of any unapproved items.
13. Liability for Loss or Damage
The event organizers are not responsible for loss or damage to the vendor's property. Vendors participate at their own risk.
14. Agreement to Terms
Submission of the signup form constitutes the vendor's agreement to these terms and conditions.
15. Changes to Terms
The event organizers reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time. Vendors will be notified of any significant changes in a timely manner.
