Introduction

Welcome and thank you for your interest in participating in the Punk Rock Swap Meet ("Event"). This Event is designed to bring the community together through music and charity. The following terms and conditions are intended to ensure a successful, enjoyable, and safe experience for all involved.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By agreeing to perform at the Punk Rock Swap Meet, you ("Band") agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions, as well as any other specific rules or regulations provided by the Event organizers.

2. Equipment and Instrument Care

2.1 Responsibility: The Band is responsible for their own instruments, equipment, and any other personal items brought to the Event site. The Event organizers are not responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of such items.

2.2 Handling of Provided Equipment: If the Event provides any equipment (e.g., microphones, stands, amplifiers), the Band agrees to use such equipment with care. The Band will be responsible for any damage they cause to the equipment during their use.

2.3 Setup and Breakdown: Bands are required to adhere to the setup and breakdown times provided by the Event organizers. Bands must ensure that their equipment is set up and functional prior to their performance and removed promptly after their set to facilitate the next performance.

3. Performance Guidelines

3.1 Schedule Compliance: Bands are expected to adhere strictly to the performance schedule. Late starts or extended performances without prior approval will not be tolerated.

3.2 Sound Levels: Bands must maintain sound levels as instructed by the Event’s sound engineers or organizers. This is to comply with local noise regulations and to ensure an enjoyable experience for all attendees.

3.3 Conduct: Band members are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner. The use of offensive language, gestures, or any form of harassment is strictly prohibited.

4. Media and Promotion

4.1 Promotion: Bands grant the Event organizers the right to use their name, likeness, and performance footage for promotional purposes in connection with the Event. Bands are NOT permitted to create their own flyers and agree to use our promotional materials.

4.2 Photography and Recording: Unless otherwise agreed, the Band allows for their performance to be recorded or photographed, and for such content to be used by the Event organizers for promotional purposes.

5. Cancellation Policy

5.1 Band Cancellation: Should the Band need to cancel their performance, they must notify the Event organizers at least 72 hours in advance. Failure to provide timely notification may result in exclusion from future events organized by the same team.

5.2 Event Cancellation: In the event of cancellation by the organizers due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, emergency), the Band will be notified as soon as possible. The organizers are not liable for any costs incurred by the Band in preparation for the Event.

6. Indemnification

The Band agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Event organizers, sponsors, and other associated parties from any claims, damages, losses, liability, or expenses incurred in relation to the Band’s participation in the Event.

7. Agreement to Terms
By performing at the Event, the Band agrees to all terms outlined herein. Any breach of these terms may result in immediate termination of the performance and participation privileges.
